Marina Baker is currently Coordinator Gallery and Public Art at the Geraldton Regional Art Gallery. She is a practicing artist, focused in painting, drawing and installation with a background as a secondary art teacher, community arts practitioner and as a Fine Arts lecturer and university Course Coordinator in Victoria, the NT and in WA. Marina is a Masters graduate of the VCA/Melbourne University and has been the recipient of many residencies and grants including the Australia Council Italian studio at Verdacchio. She is committed to the promotion and practice of contemporary arts and education, particularly in regional WA which has been her home for 17 years.
