CONFERENCE INCLUSION fund

Each year the AMaGA National Conference attracts over 450 national and international delegates. There are thousands of paid and unpaid workers who provide the facility and opportunity for Australian's to discover, learn, reflect and connect to self, our place, community and country through caring for your cultural and creative heritage. 

These museum, gallery and cultural workers range from Directors of national institutions to unpaid volunteers in every community across Australia. Larger organisations may find it within their budget to send staff to conferences, however many small organisations operate on donations and grant funding alone. 

In fact, the majority of AMaGA members operate on less than $10,000 annually. Attending an interstate conference is simply outside their means, though most would jump at the chance.


You can help

To ensure the National Conference is accessible to as many as possibly, a “Conference Inclusion Fund” has been established.

Donations to the Fund are distributed to potential delegates across the country to overcome the economic and geographical barriers to attending their premier networking opportunity. Consequently the conversations are enriched and a greater diversity of perspectives and experience is presented. 

In 2022 the AMaGA National Conference will be in Boorloo, Perth, Australia's most isolated capital city and the starting point for journeys into an incredible diversity of landscapes, people, heritage and creativity. You donation will make an enormous difference to attendance at this year's conference. 

Australia is a vast and sometimes challenging land; funds donated are used to cover registrations, travel and accommodation costs for eligible delegates. It is estimated that $1,000 is needed to cover costs for one individual. 

Individuals can donate through the registration site - any amount is appreciated. 

Sponsors can donate through the sponsorship and exhibition prospectus booking form. 

  • Company logo and acknowledgement on the Conference website with a link to your website.
  • 25-word company profile in the Conference app.
  • All donations to the Conference Inclusion Fund are tax deductable.
