Alison Gaines FAICD, IDP-C is an experienced board director in the arts, education and training and listed sectors. She recently jointed the Board of WA Opera. She leads a boutique board advisory consultancy and was for many years the international board advisory leader and CEO of an international search and consulting firm. She advises clients about effective board governance, matching board and executive skills to strategy and monitoring their performance. She received an honorary doctorate from Murdoch University for her contribution to the University and the community and holds BA (Hons) and BLaws UWA, MA (public policy) Murdoch University and Grad Dip Leg Pract ANU.
