The Diversity and Inclusion Grant aims to bring increased diversity of voices and perspectives to our annual conference Collaborate Innovate 2023 by for individuals in industry-research collaboration who come from diverse backgrounds and who would not be able to attend without this added financial support. Researchers, staff and students from member organisations are encouraged to apply. The grants cover registration and up to $750 towards transport and accommodation.

Requirements: 

To be eligible for the Diversity and Inclusion Grant, applicants must complete an application detailing their motivation to attend the conference, as well as a plan for how to use the knowledge and networks gained at the conference in the pursuit of their careers. 

The available grant includes conference fee waivers. In addition, some of the grants may include some funding of up to $750 to assist with travel costs. 

Priority will be given to applicants who come from a diverse background, who have not attended a Collaborate Innovate conference before, and who demonstrate a need for financial assistance.

Submission Deadline: 

Grants will be made on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted or Wednesday 5 July 2023, whichever comes first. Incomplete submissions will be disqualified. Notifications of grants recipients will be made via email. Please note you must be available to attend the conference Monday 10 – Wednesday 12 July 2023.
