Diane currently works as the Wound Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) for Holmesglen Private Hospital and at the Alfred Hospital Hyperbaric Unit. Prior to this she spent 5 years as the Wound CNC at Caulfield Hospital and 3 years as a Clinical Nurse Consultant in the Alfred Hospital ICU specialising in Burns, Haematology, General Medicine/ Surgical and Hyperbaric nursing.   

A strong commitment and involvement in education has led to lecturing positions in Bioscience subjects, a tutoring position at Monash University and the completion of a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education, Queensland University, in 2009 and a Masters of Preventive Medicine, through the Edith Cowan University in 2013. In 2022/2023 Diane completed the two Level 1 Lymphoedema courses through Lymphoedema Education Solutions.
