Parking
The University offers differing types of parking options for campus visitors.
Visitors are able to park in Pay As You Go parking zones and Pay & Display zones after paying the appropriate fees to do so. There are a limited number of time limited bays at no charge.
Parking restrictions apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week unless stated otherwise. Permit, Pay As You Go & Display (ticket) and time limited zones are enforced from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, public holidays excepted.
Travel
Canberra Airport is located approximately 15 minutes from The Australian National University and approximately 10 minutes from Canberra's CBD. The Canberra Airport accommodates international, domestic and regional operations from one building.
The airport includes car rental facilities, money exchange, traveller service bureaux and souvenirs.

Taxis
A taxi rank is located directly out the front of baggage collection on the ground level.
Buses
Transport Canberra runs ACTION Bus route Rapid 3 with regular services between the Canberra Airport terminal through to the City interchange, Belconnen interchange, Cohen St interchange to Spence Terminus, seven days a week including public holidays. The Rapid 3 route operates every 15 minutes through the day (weekdays) and every 30 minutes on weekends. The trip from Canberra Airport terminal to the City is less than 20 minutes.
An official Transport Canberra ticket vending machine is located on the ground floor within arrivals hall at Canberra Airport. The ticket vending machine’s user-friendly touch screen allows a simple and fast transaction for passengers to purchase a single or daily adult/concession tickets for bus and light rail using these machines.

Rideshare
Your driver will pick you up from the Rideshare Express Pick-Up Car Park, located on the ground floor of the GREEN Indoor Car Park, a short 20 metre covered walk from the Arrivals Hall. The Rideshare Express Pick-Up has a dedicated passenger waiting lounge adjacent to the car park where you can wait for your ride in air-conditioned comfort.
