Tiffany is the Executive Director of the National Careers Institute (NCI) within the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE). The NCI was formally established on 9 June 2020 and operates as a non-statutory, independently identified entity within DESE. The NCI provides Australians with authoritative and accurate career information and support, irrespective of age or career stage, so that people can make informed decisions about their education, training, and career pathways. 

Tiffany joined DESE in February 2020 as a First Assistant Secretary with the Skills Group. Prior to this role, she has held various Senior Executive Service positions across the Australian Public Service including with the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, Australian Border Force, and several appointments with the Department of Defence. 

Tiffany is an Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) Certified HR Practitioner, and a member of the AHRI ACT State Council. She holds an honours degree in Education (QUT) and a Master’s in Business (UNSW). Tiffany and her family live on a property outside Canberra, where she enjoys growing vegies and tending to the small farm animal menagerie.
