The National Skills Commission is spearheading the use of data and analytics to determine skills needs and to enhance the critical role of VET in generating apprenticeships and other skilled occupations.

Never before has there been such a sharp focus on careers from different levels of government. The panel will outline the latest initiatives, and how they connect to work and skills development.

Empowering Women’s Careers Through Apprenticeships and Traineeships
It’s been a year of national reckoning for women in Australian places of work and learning. Powerful women have championed improved culture, access and equity. Speakers will reflect on their own experience and achievements and how industry and employers can empower more women to forge careers through apprenticeships and traineeships, particularly in male dominated fields.

The session will be chaired by Kit McMahon, CEO, Women’s Health in the South East.
