Focus: Sustainability has gone beyond being a buzz-word, and is now at the forefront of our daily lives. How do we negotiate sustainability in contemporary arts practices, galleries and art museums? This session looks at how environmental sustainability is intertwined with social and economic sustainability: how action in one area will affect outcomes in others. Join a panel of international and national experts to look at how our environmental and social responsibilities – the roles of governance, boards and sponsors in decision making, voices of different communities – all link to the long term economic sustainability of art, craft and design organisations.
