Russell Briggs is Chief Experience Officer, Museum Experience and Engagement at the Australian Museum, beginning his tenure in September 2017. Russell leads the team responsible for permanent, temporary and touring exhibitions; visitor experience; education; public programs; digital; climate change; the Museum archives and library, and the extensive world collections held by the Museum. He was previously Director of Exhibitions and Collections at ACMI in Melbourne and Director, Exhibitions and Programs, War Memorial, Visitor Services, and International Partnerships at Auckland Museum in Aotearoa.
