The 2023 conference will include access to the Regional, Remote & Community Museum Day (RR&C)/Conference Day 1 for all full attendees, marking 2023 as the first year the conference rate has covered four days of programming. RR&C will be held at Murrook Cultural Centre.
Plenary, concurrent and workshop sessions will be held across Wednesday 17 - Friday 19 May at Newcastle City Hall and Civic Theatre.
The Welcome Reception will be held on Tuesday 16 May 2023 at the close of the RR&C. Be welcomed to Awabakal & Worimi Land during the Smoking Ceremony and finish the night with the highly anticipated AMaGA National Awards (formally the MAGNA & MAPDA Awards).
A special night is in store on Wednesday 17 May 2023 with Mid-Career Mentor Speed Dating. With curators, educators and more as your mentees, take the time to relax and make connections which will propel your career. More details to come soon!
Our Conference Festival Dinner will be held on Thursday 18 May 2023, hosted by Newcastle Museum. We look forward to having you join us for some classic Newcastle fun.

In the allocation of bursaries, priority is given to Indigenous delegates, delegates from remote or regionals area and individuals who have not previously received a bursary.
Once again, AMaGA is offering a singular price point for unlimited virtual access to the conference to AMaGA institutional members. Rates are based on the membership level held with AMaGA, and directly relate to the annual operating budget of the member.

All communication with registered delegates will be by email. All registrations will be sent a confirmation letter and tax invoice within a few hours of submitting a registration form (please check your SPAM folder). If your email address has changed since completing the registration form, be sure to advise your new email address to Conlog at amaga@conlog.com.au.
All cancellations and requests for registration refunds must be made in writing to amaga@conlog.com.au. Any changes to your registration or optional bookings will not be accepted over the phone. Please email your changes to amaga@conlog.com.au.
If you are unable to attend the conference after submitting your online registration, you can nominate a substitute. All substitutes names are to be received via email to amaga@conlog.com.au.
All payments must be received prior to the conference and within the due date listed on the tax invoice. If payment for your registration type is not received prior to the conference, you will be required to finalise your payment onsite.
Non-attendance at the conference still requires payment in full, unless a cancellation is received before Friday 14 April 2023.
