If you’re not already aware of Maynard, his career is a lesson in the history of Australian entertainment: member of The Castanet Club cabaret group, host of Triple J's flagship Breakfast show, Commander-in-Chief of the MADD Club and Maynard's Loveshack where things took place that - thanks to Health and Safety - will never be repeated, and TV show host on Channel [V].Maynard also produces the Australian Podcast Award winning Planet Maynard podcast and is Master and Commander of Maynard International Studios - famous for livestream high energy variety shows and the hilarious "We Don't Care" Quiz. During the 2021 lockdown, Maynard hosted Almost Live from The Castanet Club, a series of online shows celebrating and showcasing Newcastle Museum's The Castanet Club - an exhibition you can dance to!, which garnered a Highly Commended citation in the 2022 Museums and Galleries National Awards.
