Amanda Morley is the Assistant Director of Indigenous Repatriation in the Australian Government’s Office for the Arts. She is responsible for progressing international negotiations to support the repatriation of Australian First Nations ancestors held overseas, while also working closely with First Nations communities to return their ancestors home. Through ongoing work advocating for the repatriation of ancestors held overseas she has observed a positive shift in collection ethics and increased support to return ancestors to their Traditional Custodians.
