Kumarah Kelly is a proud Pambilang woman from Newcastle, New South Wales. She was born and raised in the Awabakal Community and has developed her connection to culture through her Elders in the Newcastle area. She also has traditional links to the Worimi, Gumbangyiir and Yuin Nations. Kumarah Kelly is the Chief Executive Officer of the Awabakal Aboriginal Land Council and has had a career in the Land Rights Network for several years and is a member of other local organisations.
