RISING STAR Award

As we navigate the dynamic terrain of the supply chain and freight logistics industry, the spirit of innovation and commitment propels us forward.

The Rising Star Award stands as a testament to the industry's bright future, recognising individuals and organisations that have recently embarked on this journey but are already leaving an indelible mark.

This accolade celebrates those who, despite their relatively short tenure in the industry, embody extraordinary commitment and success, positioning themselves as luminaries in the evolving landscape.

The judging criteria for the Rising Star Award encapsulate the essence of this recognition, spotlighting those with no more than three years of direct industry experience who demonstrate exceptional early success, and whose contributions exhibit sustained and positive impact, extending beyond fleeting moments of triumph.

This award is a tribute to the rising stars shaping the trajectory of the supply chain and freight logistics industry.

Judges will be looking for:

  • An individual with no more than 3 years of direct experience or existence in the supply chain and freight logistics industry.
  • Demonstration of exceptional early success, for example evidence of a step change lead project that has delivered sustainable results.
  • Evidence that the contributions of the nominee are sustained and positive and aren't the result of a one-off success or action.

Wayfinder Champion Award

In the dynamic landscape of Australia's supply chain and freight logistics industry, Wayfinder stands as a beacon of change, committed to reshaping the narrative and diversifying the workforce in what has traditionally been a male-dominated field.

As an advocate for gender diversity, Wayfinder's pipeline program empowers women to forge impactful careers in this rapidly evolving industry. Our mission extends beyond encouraging participation; we aim to create a sustainable and diverse talent pipeline that enhances career visibility, revolutionises talent acquisition and retention strategies, and ultimately transforms the face of the industry.

This award is in recognition of an individual or organisation that is driving change to diversify the workforce through innovation and/or creativity.

Judges will be looking for:

  • A clear demonstration of impactful innovations that contribute to / drive positive change outcomes aligned to Wayfinder's mission to diversify and reshape supply chain industry workforce.
  • A clear demonstration of vision and commitment to shaping and bettering the industry's workforce future through sustainable strategies, initiatives programs and outcomes.

INNOVATION Award

In the pulsating heart of Australia's supply chain industry, innovation serves as the catalyst for transformation and progress.

The Innovation Award stands as a tribute to those individuals and organisations that, through their unwavering commitment to innovation and creativity, are driving pivotal change and shaping the future of the industry. This recognition celebrates the pioneers who, with ingenuity and foresight, are pushing boundaries to benefit and elevate the entire supply chain landscape.

Judges will be looking for:

  • A clear demonstration of innovation and / or creativity through leadership, inventiveness, or ingenuity. This includes advances in digital solutions to improve supply chain processes, novel service outcomes and interfaces with regulatory authorities or initiatives in safety.
  • Empirical evidence of the effectiveness of the innovation and / or creativity and its future impact on the company and wider supply chain industry through measurable outcomes.

Environment Social Governance Excellence Award

This award acknowledges the remarkable efforts of individuals and organisations that exemplify excellence in Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance.

This award recognises those who not only embrace ESG principles but also lead by setting exceptional examples, driving positive change across these fundamental. As stewards of sustainable practices, these nominees contribute significantly to the betterment of our industry and society at large.

Judges will be looking for:

  • How the nominee has been pivotal in the development and implementation of ESG principles
  • A clear illustration of one or more of the following:
    • An environmental strategy, contribution to various environment-friendly initiatives and outcomes to improve conservation, restoration, sustainable use of the terrestrial ecosystems and/ or a reduction of carbon footprints.
    • A social policy that has positively impacted the livelihood of key stakeholders, community activities and/ or employees. a governance initiative that significantly exceeds the minimum legal and regulatory requirements
    • How ESG principles are communicated and shared internally and externally to help the industry better benchmark

Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds Wellbeing Award

The Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds Wellbeing Award is a prestigious accolade celebrating individuals and/or organisations demonstrating extraordinary commitment to fostering psychologically safe, healthy, and thriving working environments.

This award recognises those who go beyond the ordinary, innovating tirelessly to bring about positive and lasting change for truck drivers, warehousing teams, and all industry participants in mental health and wellbeing.

In a sector where challenges are as diverse as the cargo transported, this award sheds light on the champions prioritising mental health. We are seeking nominations from those who have spearheaded ground-breaking initiatives, implemented impactful programs, or displayed exceptional leadership in prioritising the mental wellbeing of their people. The Wellbeing Award for Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds is not just a form of recognition; it's a call to transform the industry by setting new standards and showcasing that a psychologically safe, healthy, and thriving workforce is the cornerstone of success.

Join us in amplifying the voices that champion mental health, demonstrating our commitment to providing everyone in the transport and logistics industries with what they need to support their mental health and physical wellbeing, and to ensure these needs are recognised as being vital to support a thriving and resilient workforce into the future.

Judges will be looking for:

  • How the nominee has championed creating a psychologically safe, healthy and thriving working environment. 
  • A clear illustration of one or more of the following: 
    • Implementation of a documented workplace wellbeing plan 
    • Demonstrated leadership commitment to psychological safety in the workplace 
    • Delivery of innovative mental health and/or physical wellbeing programs for employees 
    • An initiative that significantly exceeds the minimum legal and regulatory requirements
