The Hon Lisa Singh is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australia India Institute at the University of Melbourne, a research and policy think tank advancing Australia-India relations at the government, business, and academic levels. She also hosts and co-chairs the track 1.5 Australia India Leadership Dialogue. Lisa was previously the Deputy Chair of the Australian Government’s Australia-India Council, and currently serves as a Board member of Asialink and Beyond Blue. She is a former Australian senator, the first to be elected of Indian origin and a former Tasmanian member of parliament and minister.
