Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Lead, Our Watch
Tracy Minniecon is the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Lead at Our Watch, currently living in Mparntwe (Alice Springs). She is a proud Gubbi Gubbi and South Sea Islander Woman. Tracy has worked for several years with families at risk of entering or re-entering the child protection system. And from 1999 to 2015 Tracy worked as a police officer for 16 years with the Queensland Police Service as a first response officer and in her final 6 years as a Detective in the Child Abuse Unit.
