No to Violence Conference 2023: Leading the change to break the cycle of violence recognises that conference attendance, while vital to continue to knowledge share in order to lead the change, can present a financial obstacle to many individual practitioners and small organisations within our sector. In addition, the impact of natural disasters has seen increases in domestic family and sexual violence in some communities while stretching budgets of service providers.

Larger organisations may find it within their budget to send staff to conferences, however many small organisations operate on donations and grant funding alone.

In 2022 we were honored to be able to host funding delegates via a generous social impact sponsorship. In 2023, we hope to continue to support all members of the sector to attend.

No to Violence Conference 2023: Leading the change to break the cycle of violence has therefore established a "Pay it Forward" donation to assist volunteers and staff working in those smaller organisations to attend the conference. Eligible individuals, organisations and their staff and volunteers, will be encouraged to apply to the fund for assistance to travel to the conference. Support from the fund will cover the cost of conference registration plus some funds towards travel and accommodation.

Personal donations made be made via the Registration process. Corporate donations may be made via the Sponsorship and Exhibition Proposal.
