Michael Jeh

Educator, former first class cricketer

Michael Jeh is an Oxford Blue and former first-class cricketer, now working in the area of gender equity and DV prevention/bystander training.

A Commerce degree in Australia, followed by postgraduate study at Oxford University and more than15 years as a professional cricketer have given Michael a unique insight into the world of boys, and men's lenses, when it comes to issues of gender equity and domestic violence. He works with clients as diverse as schools, corporates, university colleges, maximum-security prisons and elite sporting teams.

Michael ran the lifeskills program for Rugby Australia for more than a decade, pioneering some of the early work around the respect for women agenda. In his spare time, Michael is a wildlife ranger in Africa, leading guests on walking safaris. These two diverse careers have surprising synergies in terms of exploring notions of risk-taking, which Michael blends into his work teaching young men to embrace moral courage when speaking out against misogyny and harassment of women.
