A youth worker by trade, Michael Hail has had over 12 years of experience in addressing the social determinants of health and drivers that perpetuate gender based violence in our community.
Currently Michael is the Manager, of Primary Prevention and Community Engagement at The Men’s Project at Jesuit Social Services where he supports a team of workers to support boys and men live respectful, accountable and fulfilling lives, where they are able to develop loving relationships free from violence.
Internationally, Michael has developed and delivered capacity building programs for young people and practitioners to prevent radicalisation and building resilience to encourage best practice approaches to prevent gender-based violence. Michael has also led projects in schools to reduce violence behaviour using multi-agency and whole of community approaches.
