Kate Richards

Art Therapist, Berry Street

Kate Richards is an Art Therapist specializing in work with children, young people, and families with experiences of trauma. Driven by interests in the intersections between history and philosophy of art, creativity and emotional experiences, in addition to her clinical practice Kate has developed and facilitated exhibitions, arts research, participatory art projects and events. Kate is employed as the Senior Art Therapist within the Wattle Project (Take Two) Berry Street, and a Lecturer in the Master of Art Therapy program at La Trobe University.
