Catriona Elder, Practice Lead Intersectionality, works with Tracy Minniecon at Our Watch designing and delivering resources on the prevention of violence against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. Catriona is a non-Indigenous woman living in Naarm. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience as an academic working on the topics of anti-racism and colonialism Catriona's aim is to use this knowledge, and through a process of listening to and learning from First Nations communities, work as part of a team to activate and amplify their approaches and solutions to violence.
