Sector Engagement Lead, Our Watch

Cameron has worked as a social worker in various roles and in diverse settings in primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of men’s violence against women for the last 14+ years. He has never been satisfied with socially dominant forms of masculinity in Australia. He’s dedicated to working with men and he believes that we can be better.

At Our Watch, he has developed the Men in focus practice guide for addressing masculinities and working with men and boys in the prevention of men’s violence against women. Currently he works in sector engagement and is focused on building the capacity of the primary prevention workforce in Australia.

Outside of work, Cameron loves spending time with his young family and his old dog. He is passionate about transforming gender stereotypes, washing nappies and surfing, camping and hiking when possible.
