Beck O'Connor, as the dedicated CEO of DVConnect, leads Queensland's state-wide crisis response to domestic & family violence and sexual assault. An inclusive queer feminist, she brings a lifelong commitment to social justice into her work, championing equality, safety, and collaboration across various sectors, including mental health, victim/survivor advocacy, LGBTQ+ wellbeing, and family support. Beck's expertise also lies in the delivery of complex virtual clinical care services. Her additional roles include Deputy Managing Director of the LGBTQ Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation, Co-Convenor of the QLD Domestic Violence Services Network, Secretary for Ending Violence Against Women Queensland, and recently appointed Co-Chair of the QLD Police Service Domestic and Family Violence Advisory Group.
