Clare has a background in government, university and private sectors, focusing in program management with additional experience in stakeholder management and business development. Clare was program manager at Sense-T, an IoT focused research program at the University of Tasmania, managing 16 research projects with more than $20m in research funding, the majority of which conducted data service innovation research in Agriculture. More recently, Clare was business development manager for Ag-Tech company, The Yield, and was also vice-president for startup peak industry body, Startup Tasmania.
