After completing year 12, Lochlan Veale's career began with being drafted by AFL Club Hawthorn and later the Western Bulldogs. After spending two years in the AFL system, he moved to Shepparton working as a Junior Development Trainee with the Goulburn Valley Football League (GVFL).
A change of career followed in 2006, where Lochlan began his Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprenticeship, completing in 2010 after moving back to Colac, South West Victoria where he worked as Mechanical Foreman for a number of years.
Following that, Lochlan’s career took him to the other side of Apprenticeships when he completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment before commencing as a Field Consultant in 2012 with GTO, Victorian Group Training. He then completed Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety becoming VGTC’s OHS Officer.
2017 saw Lochlan progress to General Manager and as of 2020, is now also a Managing Director of Victorian Group Training.
