Emma Wallace works as a Services Manager (Assistant) in the construction industry, and in 2022, received the NAWIC (National Association for Women in Construction) Bright Ideas Grant. Her idea was to write and illustrate a book – This Girl Built That – to attract young girls to the construction industry, with the belief that ‘if you can see it, you can be it’. Emma is passionate about the construction industry, which she shares through her illustrations that you can find via @emmawallace.designs. This Girl Built That is her first publication.
