Tracey Kelly
MTE SA

Tracey brings over 27 years senior management experience in the NGO, health and training sectors where she has been pivotal in developing compliance, risk and governance practices as well as strategic planning, transformation and cultural change. Tracey has also been instrumental in developing new organisational management structures that support and improve the internal workings of an organisation ensuring efficiency and effective management practices to support the communities they are supporting. Tracey has extensive experience working with corporate industries as well as Government departments and Ministers both State and Federal. Tracey has been responsible for implementing Federal and State funded programs and was instrumental in regaining one NGO’s funding when the State Government cut vital funding to this NGO.

Tracey began her career as an apprentice hairdresser before changing fields, moving into childcare, and then into the NGO space and within this space Tracey has worked in both paid and volunteer roles and has worked at an RTO as a Trainer and Assessor. Tracey has been a passionate advocate for building knowledge and community capacity to initiate cultural change that leads to social equity. 

Tracey has completed her Masters Business Administration (MBA) majoring in HR and Governance and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management. Tracey is currently President of the AEN SA Board, and a Director on the NAEN Board. Tracey is an active member in both the regional communities and metropolitan areas where her Group Training Organisation operates and is a passionate advocate of group training and apprenticeships and traineeships. 

mteSA (Murraylands Training & Employment) is a Community Based Not-For-Profit Group Training Organisation that is run by a Board of Directors. mteSA have scope across all industries and employ apprentices, trainees within the Murraylands, regional South Australia, Adelaide Hills and Adelaide.
