Derek Hennessy has worked in the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector since 2003. Commencing as a field consultant with The Departments Australian Apprenticeships Centre DETNAC, to Area Manager for Australian Apprenticeships Network (MEGT), and since 2014, Regional Manager with the NSW Department of Education, Training Services NSW. Derek has completed a Structural Engineering apprenticeship with QANTAS, Diploma of Management, and in 2015 a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management through Flinders University.
