Andrea Minnis is a Nurse Practitioner in wound management and has 3 decades of experience working with clients with chronic and complex wounds and oedema in both public health and the private sector. Andrea was a founding member of the Bendigo Health Wound clinic before establishing her private practice; Bendigo Wound Management in 2013. Andrea provides comprehensive management to individuals with chronic and complex wounds and oedema; including regional clinics as well as providing clinical support to Hospital inpatients, Nursing home and Hostel residents in the Bendigo and outlying regions. Andrea is a past President of the Victorian branch of Wounds Australia, was convenor of the 2016 Inaugural Wounds Australia National conference, co-convenor for the 2019 Victoria Wounds Australia conference and is a life member of the organisation. Andrea holds a Masters degree in Nursing (Research) and is passionate about improving community access to specialist wound management services and fostering the role of the Nurse Practitioner in wound management.
