All communication with registered delegates will be by email. All registrants will be sent a confirmation letter and tax invoice within 5 working days of submitting a registration form. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder prior to contacting the AFPA Secretariat as it might have been viewed as spam mail by your spam filter. If your email address has changed since completing the registration form, be sure to advise your new email address to the AFPA Secretariat.

Cancellation

Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the 2021 AFPA after submitting their online registration are most welcome to nominate a substitute. All substitutions and cancellations must be made by email to afpa@conlog.com.au.

Cancellations received before / on Friday 30 June 2021 will be refunded, less an administration fee of $99. Cancellations received after Friday 30 June 2021 are not refundable. Exceptions are at the discretion of the Symposium Committee.

All hotel booking cancellations MUST be made in writing to afpa@conlog.com.au. Cancellations received after Friday 30 June 2021 will be charged by the hotel according to their cancellation policy.

COVID-19 Related Cancellations

  • Gala Dinner: Gala dinner tickets are non-refundable unless a COVID-19 related, government imposed, travel restriction prevents you attending. Refunds will not apply if your travel is restricted by other entities such as your company. Should AFPA be forced to cancel the dinner due to the actions of other parties (e.g. Parliament House cancelling the Great Hall booking due to COVID) a full refund will be provided. In the case of reduced occupancy, due to increased social distance regulations, refunds will be offered in order of most recent purchase.

  • Symposium: The Symposium will now be held as an online event. All registrations are in the process of being converted to online only. As the Symposium is already below cost, the cost will remain the same regardless of the delivery option.

  • AFPA do not accept any liability for losses incurred if the Symposium and or Gala Dinner are cancelled or moved to virtual only due to an unforeseen occurrence or any other occurrence that renders performance of this Event inadvisable, illegal, impracticable, or impossible. An unforeseen occurrence shall include, but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency.
