Presenting: Restorative justice and sexual harm
Thea Deakin-Greenwood is a former lawyer with over 15 years experience in the community sector with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, most recently in connection to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. In collaboration with Dr Jane Bolitho, Thea has founded Transforming Justice Australia, an independent, community-based organisation providing restorative practices for survivors of sexual assault, people responsible, for harm, and their families and community. She is a member of the NSW Sentencing Council, NSW Corrective Services Ethics Committee and has completed a Churchill Fellowship exploring international victim-oriented restorative justice programs and good practice for sexual assault.
