Craig Rigney is a proud Ngarrindjeri/ Kaurna man born in Gawler, SA. Craig is dedicated to eliminating all forms of violence against women and children and stemming the flow of Aboriginal children and families into the child protection systems.

- SAACCON - The peak body for South Australia Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation Network, reporting to Commonwealth on Closing the Gap reform.
- The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander early childhood strategy.
- Australian Centre for Child Protection, Aboriginal Leadership Group
State:- The South Australian Council of Social Services (SACOSS)
- Embolden -The Coalition of Women’s Domestic Violence Services.
- A Board Member of CAFFSA – Child and Family Focus SA
- An Aboriginal respected person and Elder with the Courts Administration Authority.
- The Aboriginal Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Committee
Craig Rigney has worked in, led, and grown Kornar Winmil Yunti (KWY) for 12 years. KWY has been providing holistic culturally endorsed complex case management services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families. KWY was also the lead cultural and specialist trainer and consultant for the South Australian Homelessness and Domestic Violence sector during this time.Craig, under the guidance of his Board, has built KWY from a staff of two in 2011 to an organisation with nearly 50 staff across Adelaide, Pt Augusta, Whyalla and the Riverland.
