Presenting: The problem with men and money: The role of economic abuse in experiences of family violence

Louise Allwright is the National Program Manager of the Financial Independence Hub, a national program co-designed to build financial independence, confidence and wellbeing for people who have experienced financial abuse. 

Louise has 20 years’ experience working in community services including in mental health, family violence, family support and out of home care. Louise is passionate about working in a trauma informed and strengths-based approach that recognises and builds on individuals existing skills, knowledge and experience. Louise is committed to domestic and family violence prevention and recovery. Particularly increasing understanding about financial abuse, it’s prevalence, impacts and the experience of recovery.
