Strengthening Hospital Responses to Family 

Susan George is trained in Social Work; Community Development. She has worked in a range of family violence services over the years as well as diverse universal services including; women’s and youth homelessness; women exiting prison; disability including Mental Health; Alcohol & Other Drugs; Refugees & Asylum Seekers and family violence within Community Health.

Recently she has been working in the Strengthening Hospitals Response to Family Violence (SHRFV) program in Melbourne metro regions at Western Health; Austin Health and Eastern Health and at Bendigo Health as SHRFV State-Wide Lead (Regional Sector). She is currently working as SHRFV-Emerging Practice State-wide lead – Working with Adults who Use Family Violence
