Men and Family Centre

Penn is a Wathaurong man who has worked across Australia supporting others to heal and make changes that will move them forward in their lives – They are part of the stollen generation (White mother, First Nations – father (Eales) taken at birth and displaced into a white family.

Penn has worked in Nursing, AOD, Justice Health, Primary Prevention of Violence and Men’s Behaviour Change with mob and those who have been disenfranchised.

Penn has spent time with First Nations Men and LGBTIA mob who have come out of all forms of violence – whether they are victim survivors or people who have chosen to use violence. Penn facilitated the Strong Aboriginal Men’s Program for NSW Health for several years, and is a member of the Bennelong Aboriginal Men’s Counsel.

They now work with the Men and Family Centre in the ARC Gender Relations team, the ARC Rainbow Team, and Co coordinated the Side-by-Side Project in 2023.
