Michael Jeh

Public speaker / Educator

Michael Jeh has been working in the FV/DV education space for 15+ years, starting his journey at a time when forthright male voices were rarely heard.

He read Philosophy at Oxford as a postgraduate student where he also got two Cricket Blues and went on to play professional cricket for many years.

He now uses that background knowledge in framing his understanding of some men, pioneering some of the early work in professional sport around the respect for women agenda.

As a public speaker and educator, his passion is to present issues around Coercive Control in a way that resonates with mainstream audiences.

His main project now is to present Hannah's Story, an awareness-raising educational program being run by Small Steps 4 Hannah. In his spare time, Michael is a wildlife ranger/guide in Africa, leading walking safaris.

The parallels between his two careers have remarkable synergies that he weaves into his work to be able to relate to audiences.
