Lisa has a background in social work and has worked with people of all ages to address the impacts of being subjected to violence and abuse, to honour resistance, and to understand abuses of power within the social contexts and societal narratives where this violence occurs. In the last five years Lisa has moved from response and healing work to work in the primary prevention of gender based violence. This has furthered her passion and hope for social change through building communities where everyday actions are built on, and continue to build justice, safety, curiosity and connection.
