Jane Gilmore have worked in gender based violence for over 15 years as a writer, researcher, advocate, consultant, and adviser. I've been in courtrooms, classrooms, newsrooms, locker rooms, refuges, parliaments, and corporate offices where the perpetrators of violence and the people trying to prevent them all work and live. I've worked in crisis response and in primary prevention and I understand the opportunities and limitations of both. I believe change can happen but it won't be quick and it definitely won't be easy.
