Jane Drake-Brockman is an expert on international trade and economic integration and is globally recognised as a champion in particular for the services sector. 

With a foundation in Economics at the Australian National University and early career years with the Treasury, Jane has worked on the staff of the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, the OECD Trade Directorate in Paris and later the International Trade Centre in Geneva. 

As a former diplomat and trade negotiator with the Dept of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Jane has also held positions such as Chief Economist, Head of Services Trade and Intellectual Property and Minister and Charge d’Affaires at Australia’s Delegation to the European Union in Brussels.

Jane Drake-Brockman is the Founder, and remains a key driving force, of the Australian Services Roundtable. She has a close long-standing association with APEC and co-convenes the Asia Pacific Services Coalition.

She is one of the region’s top commentators on digital trade and for Indonesia’s G20 year, she is appointed Co-Chair of T20 Taskforce 1: Open Trade, Sustainable Investment and Industry.
