Ben Dowling, General Manager, Dowling AgriTech operates the country’s largest seed potato producing business in the Mount Gambier region of South Australia. He is the largest seed potato supplier for PepsiCo Australia, who manufactures brands such as Smith’s and Red Rock Deli. He has been supplying to PepsiCo for 20 years and has extensive experience in all aspects of seed potato production from tissue culture, minitubers, to certified seed. Ben works closely with the PepsiCo agronomy team on variety development and import and the application of good science and technology to produce high quality seed potatoes.
