Professor Tim Boyle


Tim Boyle is Director, Innovation & Commercialisation and Founder of the nandin Innovation Centre.

Tim is a globally recognised leader in research translation and IP commercialisation with over 20 years’ experience developing the interface between research and business. He has an enviable track record in technology licensing, developing industry collaborations and spinning out new ventures across a broad range of technology areas.

Tim has a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wollongong, is a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). He has won many innovation awards and accolades including the Queens Award for Enterprise: Innovation (Technology). He is an Adjunct Professor with Swinburne University, Global Expert Faculty with Singularity University and holds a number of board appointments including Chair - Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP), Chair - Southern Sydney Innovation Network, Non-Executive Director, Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia and governance and advisory roles with the National Imaging Facility (NIF), Standards Australia and the NSW Innovation and Productivity Council.
