Ms Lundy holds a number of directorships including NRMA (Mann Region), Australian Grand Prix Corporation, National Youth Science Forum, Electro Optic Systems, Canberra Institute of Technology and the ACT Defence Industry Advisory Board.

Ms Lundy served as a senator representing the Australian Capital Territory in the Australian Federal Parliament for over 19 years. She served in various ministerial positions including the Minister for Multicultural Affairs, the Minister Assisting for the Digital Economy, Minister for Sport and the Minister Assisting for Industry and Innovation. In 2017, Ms Lundy was awarded an Honorary Doctorate for her contribution to information and communications policy by the Australian National University.
