Ian Christensen is the Managing Director of iMOVE Australia. He led the formation of the iMOVE CRC after serving as a senior executive in two rounds of the Auto CRC, and before that as COO of the Molecular Plant Breeding CRC. Prior to his seventeen years of CRC experience, Ian spent twenty years in manufacturing, with roles in operations, product development and marketing.

Ian has an Honours degree in Science and an MBA as well as having completed diploma studies in finance and intellectual property. He is the inventor on two families of patents. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ian is an experienced practitioner in innovation and collaboration and is passionate about the contribution that collaborative research can make to the advancement of society.
