Presentation: Mental fatigue – What is it, what can we do about it, and how can we use it to our advantage?

Kristy is a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Canberra Research Institute for Sport and Exercise. Her research focuses primarily on mental fatigue, a concept familiar to many.

Kristy’s work extends the impact of mental fatigue on cognitive and physical performance, individual characteristics which may afford someone greater tolerance to mental fatigue, as well as potential mechanisms by which mental fatigue impacts performance.

Kristy’s research involves members of the public, professional athletes, and more recently the Australian Army, working on a project investigating cognitive resilience in stressful and challenging environments.
