Plenary and concurrent sessions will be held across Wednesday 30 October to Friday 1 November 2024 at The Westin, Perth.

Full conference registrations include the Welcome Reception on Tuesday 29 October. Be welcomed to Boorloo Country during the Smoking Ceremony then catch up with colleagues to kick off the conference.

We look forward to having you join us for the Conference Dinner on Thursday 31 October for another outstanding evening. More details will be announced soon. 

Remember to keep the post-conference event in mind! Following the conclusion of the conference, there will be an opportunity for you to reconnect with both new and familiar faces over drinks and nibbles.

The 30th Oration and Investiture Ceremony will invest new fellows and life members into Australia’s peak professional mental health nursing organisation.

Continuing Professional Development points

The ACMHN provides members and the broader nursing community with high quality, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) focused on the mental health needs of service users, their families, and communities. This is done through endorsed events run by external providers, degree programs accredited by the ACMHN, and online courses offered by the College that can be completed at your own pace – including the 48th International Mental Health Nursing Conference! 

CPD points are distributed by the College following the conference.

  • Day 1 – 9:00am – 4:30pm: 5.5 CPD points* 
  • Day 2 – 9:00am – 4:45pm: 6 CPD points* 
  • Day 3 – 9:00am – 5:30pm: 6.5 CPD points* 
Total for full 3-day conference attendance: up to 18 CPD points* 

*exact number of points dependent on final daily program length


Terms and conditions

Acknowledgment/Communication

All communication with registered delegates will be by email. All registrations will be sent a confirmation letter and tax invoice within a few hours of submitting a registration form (please check your SPAM folder). If your email address has changed since completing the registration form, be sure to advise your new email address to Conlog at acmhn@conlog.com.au.

Cancellations

All cancellations and requests for registration refunds must be made in writing to acmhn@conlog.com.au. Any changes to your registration or optional bookings will not be accepted over the phone. Please email your changes to acmhn@conlog.com.au.

If you are unable to attend the conference after submitting your online registration, you can nominate a substitute. All substitutes names are to be received via email to acmhn@conlog.com.au.

  • Cancellations received before Friday 20 September 2024 will receive a refund less a $99.00 per administration fee
  • Cancellations received after Friday 20 September 2024 will not receive a refund. Exceptions are at the discretion of the organising committee
  • Refunds will not be issued until after the conference
  • Refunds will not be given for non-attendance at the conference
  • Accommodation and airline cancellations are at the discretion of the individual concerned. Please check the accommodation T&C when booking
  • Should your attendance to the conference be impacted by any restrictions enforced by COVID-19 government regulations, the conference organisers will discuss available options on a case by case basis and come to a mutual agreement.

Payment of Fees

All payments must be received prior to the conference and within the due date listed on the tax invoice. If payment for your registration type is not received prior to the conference, you will be required to finalise your payment onsite.

Non-attendance at the conference still requires payment in full, unless a cancellation is received before Friday 20 September 2024.
