Barbara Lundgren
National Disability Insurance Agency

Barbara Lundgren has worked in the Australian Public Service for 21 years, serving in various Departments and Agencies. She joined the NDIA in 2013, prior to the scheme's commencement. Barbara began her career with the NDIA at the Hunter Trial site and has since held several positions both regionally and nationally within the organization. She played a key role in supporting Western Australia during its transfer and transition stages and later took on the role of Operations Director. She now serves as the WA State Manager. 

As a leader, Barbara is passionate about fostering a positive, productive, and diverse workplace culture. Through coaching and mentoring, she encourages innovation and delivers outcomes aligned with Agency objectives. She is committed to supporting career progression and succession planning, ensuring that the right people are in the right roles to deliver on both participant and Agency priorities.
