All registrations are to be completed individually before proceeding to the next person in the group. Please do not use autofill for contact details to ensure names are not adjusted to the 1st name registered.

Dietary Requirements

Dietary requests will be catered for to the best of the venue’s ability. Individuals with severe allergies are requested to advise the conference secretariat, Conlog, prior to the conference of their requirements, and bring any allergy medication (EpiPen, Phenergan, etc) as prescribed by your doctor to the conference and any associated function. Whilst due care is taken by the organisers and venue, individuals must take primary responsibility for their own health.

Join us for the Shark Bay tour to kick off the conference and come face to face with the impressive sharks that will glide past the huge windows offering a glimpse into the world of one of the ocean’s top predators in the massive Shark Lagoon. This two-level exhibit offers incredible viewing both topside and underwater.

Join us for a night to remember at Sea World Plaza.

Starting with drinks and canapes in the 'New Atlantis' you have the opportunity to network with other guests and enjoy the beautiful surrounds alongside the waters edge. Then it's a short walk to the majestic Plaza where you will enjoy a two-course meal along with drinks.

Sea World by night is not something everyone gets to see everyday so don't miss our Gala Dinner.

Terms and Conditions

  • All cancellations and requests for registration refunds must be made in writing to biosecurity@conlog.com.au 

  • Any changes to your registration or optional bookings are to be emailed to biosecurity@conlog.com.au

  • If you are unable attend the 3rd Australian Biosecurity Symposium after submitting your online registration, you can nominate a substitute. All substitute names are to be received via email to biosecurity@conlog.com.au no later than 5pm Thursday 22 August 2024

  • A full-refund less a $150 service fee will be issued for cancellations received on, or before, 31 May 2024. Cancellations to registrations received between 31 May 2024 and 26 July 2024 will receive a 50% refund on registration fees. Tickets will not be refunded after 26 July 2024, however can be transferred to a substitute delegate as mentioned above. Exceptions to this policy are at the discretion of the organising committee. 

  • Refunds will be issued after the conference

  • Refunds will not be given for non-attendance at the conference

  • All social functions are 18+ only events. Each person must have a valid ticket to attend all the social functions

  • Accommodation cancellations are at the discretion of the individual provider concerned. Please check the individual accommodation terms and conditions when booking

  • Should your attendance to the conference be impacted by any restrictions enforced by COVID-19 government regulations, the conference organisers will discuss available options on a case by case basis and come to a mutual agreement.

  • BIOSYM 2024 is being operated in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect on 25 May 2018. You will need to give consent for your data to be used in facilitating your registration, as well as in the planning and implementation of the symposium (providing dietary requirements to venues, accommodation bookings details to hotels, health related contact tracing, or for the facilitation of live or on-demand virtual sessions if required, for example). 

  • BIOSYM 2024 is aiming to reduce our carbon footprint and will use the conference app to view all session details, speaker information and complete program. If you would like to receive a printed program, please contact Conlog on 02 6281 6624 or email biosecurity@conlog.com.au.

  • Your photograph will be taken throughout BIOSYM 2024 and relevant images will be used to promote the Symposium and the Biosecurity Collective. If you would not consent to being photographed, please contact Conlog on 02 6281 6624 or email biosecurity@conlog.com.au.

Payment of Fees 

All payments must be received prior to the conference and within the due date listed on the tax invoice. Non-attendance at the conference still requires payment in full, unless a cancellation is received in writing before 26 July 2024.

All fees and costs quoted are GST inclusive. Tax invoices will be issued following receipt of registration and payment.

Visa, Mastercard and AMEX are accepted.

Credit card payments can be made online or over the phone. Please note credit card payments attract a 2% fee. This fee will be added to the amount currently showing once you select your card type.
